The 2024 Astronomical Society of Australia Annual Scientific Meeting has been taking place this week, jointly hosted by CSIRO and ICRAR. This year’s meeting has been held in an online-first format with a local Hub Day in a number of locations on Wednesday. The aim of meeting online is to be more sustainable, accessible and inclusive as a community. Several platforms were used to help make the meeting more engaging and enjoyable, including slack, zoom, youtube, and spatial. The National Organising Committee partnered with Emma Rehn to design the ASA2024 logo, pictured above, which successfully captures a number of the key themes in Australian astronomy.
