“OH What a Lovely Molecule!” is the the name of a Workshop to be held on-line from 23-27 June 2025. Each day of the workshop will have a theme: Monday, Interstellar OH excitation theory; Tuesday, Interstellar OH observations; Wednesday, OH maser theory; Thursday, OH maser observations. There will focus on Australian telescopes such as Murriyang, the 64m Parkes radiotelescope, the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) and the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP). Monday to Thursday will have a similar format: participants will meet in the morning sessions to discuss perspectives on the day’s theme. Afternoon sessions will inolve breaking into groups to get hands-on experience with the methods and concepts discussed in the morning. On Friday, attendees will break into groups based on common scientific questions to discuss and plan new projects.
