In-person and on-line participants in the 2025 Bolton Symposium

The Bolton Symposium, named after the first director of Murriyang, our Parkes radio telescope, John Gatenby Bolton (1922-1993), provides a forum for early-career research (ECR) staff within the Australia Telescope National Facility to showcase their excellent science, find out what colleagues are working on, and develop and strengthen collaborations.

The 2025 Bolton Symposium is being held on May 20-21, 2025. The symposium will be held in-person at the CSIRO Kensington site, with on-line participation also possible.

The first day of the symposium was an open day with science talks from ATNF ECRs, with the second day being a closed session dedicated to practical discussions for ECR career development and getting the most out of their time with CSIRO.
