A one-day workshop to explore the scientific opportunities and technical priorities for a proposed all-sky radio transient monitor is being held today at Marsfield (and on-line). The goal of this workshop is to discuss and refine radio transient science cases that would benefit from continuous, all-sky monitoring, These include, but are not limited to, fast radio bursts, rapid timescale transients, pulsar timing, stellar and exoplanet radio bursts, and long-period radio transients. The workshop will be structured around informal, discussion-led sessions with participants encouraged to contribute actively — whether by introducing ideas, highlighting challenges, or sharing a few slides to support discussion. The main aim is to refine the design requirements for future all-sky radio transient monitoring systems and maximise the scientific return across of these instruments across broad transient science areas.
