The 2025 URSI Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference is being held in Sydney from 17-22 August 2025. During the Opening Ceremony, it was noted that the triennial AP-RASC conference had been scheduled to be held in Sydney in 2022, but Covid-related travel restrictions resulted in the Sydney meeting was put off for three years, and the AP-RASC being combined with the Atlantic Radio Science Conference (AT-RASC) that year. This is the first time one of the flagship URSI Conferences (URSI General Assembly, AP-RASC and AT-RASC) has been held in Australia since the URSI General Assembly of 1952! There are over 600 delegates from over 40 countries in attendance, with Commission J (Radio Astronomy) having the largest participation, with over 150 delegates.
