TCS is the online Telescope Control System maintained by the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF). TCS was commissioned in 1999 and is still maintained as a general purpose observing user interface at Parkes and Mopra.

The application consists of:

• The TCS graphical user interface (TCS GUI) written in Glish/Tk running on a Unix workstation.
• A Glish client running on the same host as the TCS GUI serving as a communications channel between the TCS GUI and the controller.
• The telescope controller running on a Unix host.
