The 2014/15 Vacation Scholarship Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work on real-world problems in a leading R&D organisation.
Participation in the Vacation Scholarship Program has influenced previous scholarship holders in their choice of further study and future career options. Many have gone on to pursue a PhD in CSIRO or to build a successful research career within CSIRO, a university or industry.
CASS is offering up to eight scholarships for the 2014/2015 program. Each scholar will undertake a research project under the supervision of a CASS staff member. Projects are offered in the areas of astronomy/astrophysics, physics, software engineering, computer science/engineering and electrical engineering.
Scholarships are for 12 weeks in the period late November 2014 to February 2015.
