The launch of the book Four Pillars of Radio Astronomy, by
Frater, Goss and Wendt, was held at the University of Sydney last
Friday. The program for the book launch included presentations
on each of the "four pillars", with Ron Ekers introducing the work of
Ron Bracewell, Don Melrose reviewing Paul Wild's career,
Dick Hunstead and Elaine Sadler covering the legacy of Bernie Mills,
and John O'Sullivan describing the influence of Chris Christiansen.
