Science Meets Parliament 2015 |
Discussing astronomy and the tech spin-offs with the Prime Minister |
by Alan Duffy (Swinburne University of Technology) |
During the 15th annual Science Meets
Parliament event, 200 scientists descended on Canberra to learn politics
and policy making from both politicians and experts (journalists, lobbyists
and public servants alike). It was an informative two days with the
highlight being the chance to 'pitch' your discipline with a politician,
in this case the Prime Minister of Australia. Credits: Lorna Sim at Science Meets Parliament |
