My first ASKAP visit
by Bärbel Koribalski (CASS)
Seeing the 36 antennas of the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) for the first time was a great experience. The number of Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) is noticebaly growing, and the expansive control room is very impressive. It's also wildflower season, and the site looks fantastic with beds of purple, yellow and pink flowers.
