The other day it was reported that a new world
record for the highest basketball shot had just been set by an Australian trio,
with one of them shooting the ball from a height of 180m
on the top of the Mauvoisin Dam in Switzerland through the net on the ground
below. The three guys, who call themselves How Ridiculous, have
previously visited Parkes and the video of their shots on that occasion -- impressive if not actually
record-breaking -- are available on youtube.
