| National Volunteer Week |
| Last week was National Volunteer Week (NVW) -- Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteers. The Parkes telescope turned orange in support of the NSW State Emergency Services (SES) volunteers who, amongst many other things, help the Parkes Observatory out at big public events.
