| SKA-Low Aperture Array Verification System 3 |
| Yesterday's ADAP showed the SKA-Low Aperture Array Verification System (AAVS) 3 midway through its assembly. Once construction of the 256-antenna station was completed, the SKA-Low team paused to take a celebratory photograph. After the obligatory photo with more formal poses, the team were encouraged to adopt the shape of their favourite antenna. As expected, there are many SKA-Low "Christmas trees" amongst them, but a Parkes Murriyang Dish can also be seen! (Image credit: George Simpson) |
