The Kensington office is in the Australian Resources Research Centre (ARRC building) located in Technology Park. The ARRC Building is south of the city centre of Perth, between the city and Perth Airport. By car it is about a 15-minute drive from the city centre and about a 25-minute drive from Perth Airport.

From this site we manage the ATNF telescopes, technology and observatories. Many of our astronomers and operations staff are located here. There is no on-site accommodation available.

Perth public transport

Directions to the Kensington site from Perth Busport in CBD by bus route (approx. 29 mins): 960 bus

  • Get on the 960 bus (Curtin University Bus) at Perth Busport, Zone B (stands 13-16)
  • Get off the bus at Kent St after Turner Ave
  • Walk along Kent St towards Dick Perry Ave (approx. 2 mins) turn left onto Dick Perry Ave and the ARRC building will be on your right.

Accommodation

The ARRC building has no accommodation on site. The nearest hotel is the Nesuto Curtin located on the Curtin University campus and only a 3 min drive or 18 min walk away. Alternatively, there are several hotels in South Perth, approximately a 10 min drive from the office.
