AT Distributed Clock Display was developed by Paul Hales of the AT Electronics Group in 2001, as a visible display for the Mk-VI ATDC clock, which was designed as a networked device without an inbuilt display.

The Hales display remains the main clock display in the control rooms at the ATCA, Parkes and Mopra.
