| On Wednesday 10th February, the Phased-Array
Feed was hoisted into the focus cabin of the Parkes radio telescope. All went well with the lift, and the
engineers are now busy cabling up the system. The Phased Array Feed is based
on the ASKAP design, with some modifications to cope with the RFI environment
at Parkes, and forms part of CSIRO's collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy (MPIfR)
