A recent maintenance block at Parkes was used in part to
run three fibre optic multicore cables from within the Focus Cabin to a rack in the Upstairs Control Room.
These cables will bring the signals down from the CryoPAF (cryogenically cooled Phased Array Feed)
when it is installed to the upper control room under the Dish.
Having got the fibre from the ground onto the Dish surface, it was laid out to ensure
a smooth run up the prime focus support leg to the focus cabin.
