| Parkes 60th Anniversary |
| The Parkes telescope was inaugurated on October 31st, 1961, and so in the lead up to its 60th anniversary, we will feature images from the CSIRO Radio Astronomy Image Archive. Today's image, from 1960, shows the early stages of construction of The Dish with the first of the rib sections installed. |
