In October 2018 ICRAR and CSIRO jointly hosted a Radio Astronomy School at Geraldton, WA. This was the first such event in Western Australia and was organised with a specific focus on the two SKA Pathfinder telescopes located in WA: the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) and CSIRO’s ASKAP Telescope; and on SKA Low itself, now under construction.
The programme included a very successful and well patronised day-trip to the Observatory site to inspect the ASKAP and MWA telescopes,
