VERY SMALL ARRAY: PARAMETER ESTIMATION AND THE FUTURE

The Very Small Array is an interferometric telescope operating at 33 GHz in Tenerife and is dedicated to observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background. We present the results of the cosomological parameter estimation from the latest release of the VSA data using Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods. These data probe the damping tail of the CMB power spectrum and are therefore sensitive to physical processes different to those examined by the WMAP satellite mission. We also present the future upgrades to the telescope that will allow us to investigate even smaller scales and confirm or disprove the excess power at $\ell \gtsim 2000$ observed by the CBI collaboration.
