The self-consistent model [1] is a world model constructed in the context of the "Generalized Field Theory" [2] . It is a pure geometric model which has the following parameters : o= 0.75, k= - 1 , qo = 0 . The model is free from particle horizons and flatness problems. The temperature of the microwave background radiation is an observable quantity which is used to test the viability of any cosmological model. In the present work, the value of this temperature is calculated in the context of the self consistent model. The theoretical value obtained does not contradict the observed one . [1] Wanas, M.I.
