THE HIPASS GALAXY CATALOGUE

A multibeam receiver has been constructed for the Parkes Radio telescope, enabling complete mapping of the southern sky at 21cm. Semi-automated methods have been used to construct a complete catalogue of about 4500 sources, which map the local universe in neutral hydrogen. We will present the results of the full catalogue, highlighting the large-scale structure in the local HI universe.
