fringe testing notes

Hi Guys,

In case a few of you have not ready the notes I prepared a summary of a
few of my suggestions:

 - Run the disk recorders for all fringe test experiments and for all
S2 experiments using the BG2 cable. Record for the whole time, but give
yourself enough time to change over to the real experiment. Please keep
the recorders running unless you need to fiddle with something.

 - Record all fringe test data into a single directory to make it easier
to keep track of (don't put fringe test data into a directory with the
   experiment name

 - Run the diskclean.pl script in this directory with an "age of s few
   hours(3-6 hours I would say). E.g.
>> cd /data/disk1/Fringe_May05
>> diskclean.pl -age 5h

 - Run disk based experiments (vt03*, vt01i1 etc) in a different directory
with the name of the experiment

 - Use a fileprefix experiment_ant for all experiments (e.g
>> vsib_record -o vt131az_Pa

 - When recording via the S2, use a compressed mode. (-c oxox or -c ooxx
   depending on the S2 mode)

Read my recording documentation it unsure about any of this!

Cheers
Chris
