Maser Research in the Herschel Era -- Michele Pestalozzi

The Australia Telescope National Facility Colloquium
15:00-16:00 Wed 22 May 2013

Abstract

The Herschel satellite might be now part of history after cryogenic helium finished some weeks ago, but its legacy is definitely going to live for decades to come. In this talk I will try to illustrate how maser research is greatly benefitting from the immense high quality data set that Herschel has left us, in particular in the framework of the Galactic Plane survey named Hi-GAL.
