JOB VACANCIES - ELECTRONIC TECHS

Opportunities exist for TWO highly motivated and enthusiastic electronics technicians to join the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF), a Division of CSIRO and Australia's premier radio astronomy research organisation.

Each successful applicant will work as part of a small technical team responsible for operational support, maintenance and commissioning on Telescope systems across the ATNF observatories, to ensure a high level of reliability.

Combine the advantages of a rural lifestyle whilst working in an enthusiastic team at a prime research facility with regular interaction with other technical staff as well as astronomers and research engineers.

Based at 'The Dish', the ATNF Observatory near Parkes,a 4-6 hour drive from Canberra or Sydney

Based at the ATNF's Paul Wild Observatory, near Narrabri, northern NSW.
