ATNF Telescope Applications for 2012 APRS

Applications for observing time are now invited for the 2012 APRS semester for the following telescopes:

* Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA)
* Parkes radio telescope
* Mopra radio telescope
* Tidbinbilla 70-m antenna
* VLBI observations

All applications must be submitted using the online proposal application system, OPAL.

Changes are planned for ATNF operations over the coming year. These will not significantly impact the capabilities provided in the 2012 APR semester, but proposers should be aware that some changes will begin to take place from the 2012 OCT semester.

* The deadline for proposals for the ATCA, Parkes, Tidbinbilla and LBA is 07:00 UT (17:00 AEST) 15 December 2011.

* The deadline for proposals for Mopra is extended by one month to 07:00 UT (17:00 AEST) 16 January 2012.

Please note the change in the time of day of the proposal deadline.
