We have a packed issue this month as we near the end of the CSIRO 75th Anniversary year. As a tribute to this milestone we look at our past (see the historical articles by Wayne Orchiston and John Archer), our present (read about progress in the current ATCA MNRF upgrade), as well as to the future (great news on the success of the new MNRF proposal for Australian astronomy).
