What does it cost to take part in the project?

PULSE@Parkes is funded by CSIRO Australia Telescope National Facility. We do not charge schools to apply for, to take part in an observing session or to use the online project materials.

Schools are responsible for any costs in getting students to and from an observing session. These are currently held at ATNF Headquarters at Marsfield in Sydney. School groups visiting Marsfield must be adequately supervised by school staff.

Use of the online project materials requires internet access. Some activities require the use of a spreadsheet such as Excel™ or an Open Office equivalent. Schools are responsible for the provision of these to students for any pre and post-visit work.
