After hours visits for groups

We recognise that occasionally some groups may wish to visit the centre after the normal hours, particularly if they have organised a function at the Dish Cafe. Opening the visitors centre after hours is possible however it is subject to charges to cover costs and that the visit will not interfere with the normal workings of the observatory. All requests should be directed to the visitor centre manager on parkes-vdc@csiro.au. The observatory does not normally provide night sky tours or the like. For these services we reccomend you contact a local astronomy club or public observatories.
