Staff Union (CPSU) matters at Marsfield
At around 1990 the OA and TA amalgamated to form the CSIRO Staff Association (SA). About a year or so later, the SA joined the much larger PSU, to form the CSIRO Division PSU . Through further amalgamations, the PSU has now become the Community and Public Service Union (CPSU), representing about one-quarter million State and Federal Public servants! CSIRO staff are now mainly represented by the CSIRO Division CPSU.
Each CSIRO workplace elects local union delegates annualy. The current delegates at Marsfield, representing staff at both ATNF and RP, are:
- Tasso Tzioumis (ATNF) (atzioumi@atnf.csiro.au))
- Ray Scott (UL) (rscott@rp.csiro.au))
- John Masterson (Photolab) (jmasters@rp.csiro.au))
