ATNF colloquia are mostly held on Wednesday afternoons at 15:30h, with additional colloquia on Friday mornings at 11:00h (only in very busy times). Colloquia should last no longer than 60 min in total, including a discussion, so please make sure that you finish your talk within 50 min or so.

ATNF colloquia are generally not highly specialized, and so it is advisable to give a thorough introduction to your research. If you intend to give a more specialized talk, including e.g. a detailed discussion of a model, then we recommend that you give a Lunch Talk. Lunch Talks take place in a smaller conference room, are rather informal, generally allow much tighter interaction between speaker and audience, and have proven to be more productive for specialized topics.

There is usually afternoon tea available at 3:15 pm and wine & cheese after the colloquium.
