Imaging with a compact configuration -
uv coverage of the ATCA 375-m array

Baseline lengths are most naturally described in units of wavelengths, . The ``uv-plane'' is the surface of our synthesised large telescope. The 375-m configurations provides very short baselines (central tracks). The long baselines with antenna 6 cannot be used for imaging, because it is not possible to synthesise such a huge telescope without having information in the empty areas.
