RE: Upcoming RadioAstron

Hi all,

I'll be running ATCA, Mopra and Parkes tonight (after JR sets up Parkes) for vc316 and rg23a. I am planning on being in my office with ATCA ready for fringe checking at 21:30 AEST (11:30 UTC) and I'll be on Skype. Mopra comes online after 12 UTC, and I'm not precisely aware of when Parkes will be available.

cheers
Jamie

Subject: Upcoming RadioAstron

hi all,

the schedules for the upcoming RadioAstron runs (20th and 30th
September) are available on the wiki and have been distributed.

The experiments are rg23a and rk16am. The fringe checks start 2 hours before. A couple notes on the associated fringe checks:

vc316 (rg23a) includes Hh from 11:48 (schedule starts at 11:00).

vc317a/b (rk16am) are L and C band fringe checks respectively. ATCA is included in the L band check in case it is helpful for debugging other stations but will not do L band in the science run. Likewise Mopra is included in the C band fringe check, but will observe only L band for the science run.

Any problems, please let me know.

cheers,
Cormac.
