Astronomers using ASKAP catch radio waves from supermassive black holes |
An international team of astronomers using our ASKAP radio telescope have detected radio waves from 40 large galaxies in the nearby universe. Researchers led by Michael J. I. Brown of Monash University, and including CSIRO's Ray Norris, used the RACS-low first data release to measure the radio emission from morphological early-type galaxies. |
