AbstractThe Australia Telescope Large Area Survey, ATLAS, aims at studying the evolution of galaxies from z=3 to the present epoch. Beginning with an ATCA 1.4 GHz survey of two fields in the southern sky, ATLAS now developed into a comprehensive multi-wavelength, multi-resolution survey, and has produced the first compelling results. I review the observations which have been carried out, present the current work and the future of ATLAS. |
