Command Entry Box: Commands
tvch[ans] c1 c2 [c3 c4]
Defines the range of frequency channels over which averaging occurs for the time variables, i.e. the data sent to "vis". Specify the start (c1) and stop (c2) channels for frequency 1 and, optionally, the start (c3) and stop (c4) channels for frequency 2. The default is to take the central 50% of channels at each frequency.
tvch[ans] def[ault] OR
tvch[ans] res[et]
Return to the default channel selection, i.e. the central 50% of channels at each frequency.
tvch[ans]
Print the current tvchans selection in the log window.
tvb[ins] b1 [b2]
In time or pulsar binning mode, defines which bin is used for the time variables, i.e. the data sent to "vis". Only one bin at each frequency is used to form the time variables. b1 is for frequency 1, b2 for frequency 2.
tvb[ins]
Print the current tvbins selection in the log window.
saminit
Initialise the AT samplers, if part of the configuration. The sampler level control loop can be monitored in the sampler status window which is activated by clicking on the SAMPLERS button.
samopen
Open the level control software feedback loop of the AT samplers. The levels will be frozen at their current state.
samclose
Close the level control software feedback loop of the AT samplers. The levels will be adjusted to give the nominal sampler statistics.
delres[et]
Reset the delay unit error and total counters in the delay status window. The delay status window is activated by clicking on the DELAY button.
psrph[ase] p
In pulsar binning mode, add an offset, p, to the pulsar phase as calculated from the active polyco file, where 0.0 tda[nt] [f1 [f2]]
Define which antennas are active in the tied array units, and the tied array polarisation mode, linear or circular. f1 is for frequency one, f2 for frequency two. f1 and f2 are a string of antenna numbers, preceeded by an optional L or C character, e.g. C1246, meaning that the tied array is in circular polarisation mode and antennas 1,2,4 & 6 are active whilst 3 & 5 are inactive. If no parameters are given the current settings will be printed in the log window. If no polarisation mode is given, the current settings will apply, assumed on restart of the program to be linear.
tdt[sys] n
Open a tied array tsys log file and write the tsys values every n integrations. If a file is already open, it will be closed and a new one will be opened. If n = 0, the current file will be closed and tsys logging will be disabled.
