Fourth: Controlling the S2 Units

$\bullet$ Use the pop-up menu to create the window for the Phase Rotator Control Computer (PRCC).

$\bullet$ Similarly, use the pop-up menu to create the windows for individual S2 playback units, ``S2s - Telnet'' at11, at06, at05, at12, at09 and at15 (as many units are needed).

$\bullet$ The elleba file cor$sched:transports.file defines the number and order of the S2 playbacks connected to the correlator and needs to be edited if playbacks are added or swapped. The order defined in the file must agree with the ordering of the data cable connections from the S2s to the delay/multiplexer unit. If in any doubt, consult correlator personnel. The current order (May 2003) of the S2 playbacks in the correlator room, starting form the doorway, is:

at15 logical playback 6
at09 logical playback 5
at12 logical playback 4
at04 (disconnected from the correlator for testing)
delay units, fringe-rotators, clock rack
at11 logical playback 1
at06 logical playback 2
at05 logical playback 3

Note that the order of logical playback is not the same as the sequence from the far end of the correlator room, and that due to swapping of hardware there is no obvious sequence to the codes ``atNN''.
