2. The Stakeholders
The ATNF is a major facility that is used by astronomers from many countries as well as being part of a larger, government research organization, the CSIRO. Five stakeholder groups may be identified, although these are not necessarily independent of each other.

Figure 1 illustrates the relationships between the stakeholder groups and the ATNF website. Arrows pointing towards the central website circle represent a group contributing or exercising control over the website. An arrow pointing towards the group show a usage of information from the website.
