2014 Astronomy from the Ground Up Teacher Workshop at Parkes

Registration for the 2014 Astronomy from the Ground Up teacher workshop at Parkes Observatory, 2 - 4 May is now open. This three-day event is suitable for all science teachers and will equip you with skills, activities, background knowledge and resources for teaching the astronomy-related components of the Australian Curiculum and more. Places for the Parkes workshop are filling up with two-thirds now taken so please register promptly to reserve your place.

Astronomy workshop teacher sessions in Term 1 2014

CASS Education Officer Rob Hollow will be running workshop sessions at Science teacher conferences in Melbourne and Brisbane. These include:
a. STAV/AIP Physics Teacher Conference, Monash University, 14 February,
b. STAQ Science is Primary Conference, Brisbane, 15 March.
