[askap-users] ASKAP monthly newsletter and science forum reminder

From: Hotan, Aidan (CASS, Kensington WA) <"Hotan,>
Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2020 00:38:52 +0000

Greetings all,

The 16th is the third Tuesday of June and we will be hosting our monthly ASKAP science forum as usual, at 11:00-12:00 AEST, 09:00-10:00 AWST, 01:00-02:00 UTC. Alongside the usual status updates, I will review the discussion from the recent survey science team PI meeting (instead of a technical update) and the EMU team will describe some of their latest results.

Please find the agenda here: https://confluence.csiro.au/display/askapsst/Science+Forum
This page also links to the recently-proposed plan for a second phase of pilot surveys.
Teleconference details are provided at the end of this message.

I have also attached the June ASKAP newsletter, which describes development progress during consolidation and gives an update on progress related to the Rapid ASKAP Continuum Survey.

Best regards,
Aidan.
