Dear all,
I’d like to invite you to join us at the ASKAP-Pawsey Lightning Talks event tomorrow at 11am AWST.
This event is designed to be a forum to promote interaction between ASKAP staff and science teams and Pawsey staff. It will feature a series of Lightning talks (5 min long) from each of the ASKAP science teams, as well as a discussion/networking session. It will take place on Pawsey’s Remo platform, which presents a series of virtual tables to allow parallel discussions and collaboration, as well as a centralised stage for presentations.
The event will start at 11am AWST (1pm AEST), with the platform open 10 minutes early to allow people to join, and we expect to go for 2 hours.

There’s a limit of 60 people for the platform, and each team was limited to ~5 initially, but there’s a bit of space still so it’s now on a first-come first-served basis.
