I want to note that is has been ten years since Frank Kerr began with a few exploratory scans through the ZOA with the 300-ft to test the feasibility of finding hidden galaxies. Those first few detections got the pilot survey going, and it is wonderful to see the full-blown work underway. It is fitting that the grand survey will be starting up shortly at Parkes.
