Conclusions
Although the comparative observed data for the MSSP's simulations are limited, the data available indicate that the MSSP's estimation of the precision of radial velocity measurements is reasonable. However, the true test of the MSSP's abilities will come when the Monash spectrograph is completed and measurements can be made with it. If the comparison of the MSSP's simulated results and that of the actual results turn out to be favourable, the MSSP will be of use to future users of the Monash spectrograph, and, with some modifications, be of use to the users of other spectrographs.
