The figures below show measurements of the system temperature on CA03 during the commisioning of the packages in 2007 April. The measurements were made using a broad spectrum analyser and are meant as a guide only. The system characteristics are slightly different on each antenna and for each polarisation. The system temperatures shown below are raw: they do not account for the opacity of the atmosphere (the so-called 'above-atmosphere' system temperatures). The sensitivity of the array for Fourier synthesis imaging may be estimated using the online sensitivity calculator which does account for atmospheric opacity.
