Greetings all,
The next ASKAP science forum will occur tomorrow, on the 20th of October at 12:00-13:00 AEDT, 09:00-10:00 AWST, 01:00-02:00 UTC. Please note the new time for the Australian east coast, which is now observing daylight savings. We have not moved the time with respect to UTC since it was pushed as early as possible for the convenience of our overseas participants.
We would also like to invite suggestions for how to improve the accessibility of these meetings, e.g. making a recording available, providing closed captions, etc. Please feel free to reply directly to me with any such ideas or requests.
This month, we do not have a science or engineering update, but we will have two presentations in addition to the regularly scheduled updates. Minh will give us an update on CASDA and I will discuss evolving plans for the lead-up to Pilot Surveys Phase II. The agenda can be found here: https://confluence.csiro.au/display/askapsst/Science+Forum and teleconference information is provided at the end of this message.
I have also attached the October ASKAP newsletter, which provides additional updates on current events.
