Gday all,
This is to announce a minor update to the Duchamp source finder, version 1.2.1, is available.
This version incorporates a couple of new features, a few bug fixes and some changes to the code base. To summarise:
* Duchamp can now provide region files to annotate images displayed in SAOImage DS9 (and some versions of casaviewer)
* A bug affecting measurements of the spectral width of detections found using the negative-detections feature was corrected.
* The VOTable output was missing the units for all the table columns, and the UCDs for the spectral parameters were sometimes in error - both have been corrected.
* Occasional errors in the build process are now able to be fixed more transparently.
* The interface for writing catalogues and annotation files has changed, although this should only affect those actually making use of the code. Users of the Duchamp executable will find no change.
A more complete list of changes and fixes can be found in the CHANGES file in the distribution (and online).
The new code is available for download from the usual place:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/people/Matthew.Whiting/Duchamp/downloads.php
and any feedback (which is always welcome!) should be done via the Trac wiki:
http://svn.atnf.csiro.au/trac/duchamp/newticket
as this is the easiest way for me to keep track of issues and their solutions. Note that the feedback can be either bug reports or suggested improvements.
