"[duchamp-user]" Duchamp version 1.2.2

Gday all,

I have released a minor update to the Duchamp source finder - version 1.2.2.

This release fixes a couple of bugs that occurred in particularly circumstances:
 * Reading a reconstructed or smoothed array from a saved FITS file on disk would sometimes result in segmentation faults for large (typically >2GB) image cubes. This did depend on the version of cfitsio that was being used, and, while the most recent versions worked OK, I have fixed the code so that this problem should not occur even with older versions of cfitsio.
 * Saving the mask file would sometimes fail with a cfitsio error. This code has also been improved so that this problem should not occur.

The CHANGES file in the distribution or on the web page has information on other, more minor changes.

The new code is available for download from the usual place:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/people/Matthew.Whiting/Duchamp/downloads.php
and any feedback (which is always welcome!) should be done via the Trac wiki:
http://svn.atnf.csiro.au/trac/duchamp/newticket
as this is the easiest way for me to keep track of issues and their solutions. Note that the feedback can be either bug reports or suggested improvements.

I hope Duchamp continues to be of use to many of you.
Happy finding!

Matt Whiting.
